The stand has a magnetic portion for storing the hands and that's SO NICE, seriously.
Kinda annoying getting him on the stand but I can't argue with the results.

Akaoni's parts are enough to justify the price for me. Two trays' worth of stuff.

He also comes with a pretty easy to attach cape. Super Robots with drip always goes hard so adding this was a no-brainer.

Also I do wish the other two faces served a purpose with the combined figure but still cool to have them when I decide to Open Get with this guy.

Mine has some stray red paint but it looks like blood so that's cool I guess

The eyes are nice and expressive (weirdly friendly looking) and it does that thing some Getters do where 2 and 3 are faces on other parts of the Getter.

Anyway, Akaoni is pretty cool! Out of the box I initially had some stability issues but now I can say he's pretty solid, just a bit light and small considering the price.

I can't believe I bought this figure partially due to THIS specific image from New Getter Robo (2004) existing, making me want a legit Oni Getter in some capacity for YEARS!!!!
