Good away win but we sorely miss an in form Odegaard. I’m unconvinced about Eze as a 10, he’s good in moments but doesn’t control or set the tempo of a game the way Odegaard can.

What disturbs me is the lack of Democratic voices criticizing Trump’s position vis-a-vis the overt threats to Canada’s sovereignty. Non MAGA Americans see us as friends and neighbours who have stood with the US time after time. So easy to score points by portraying Trump as the bully boy he is.

In the current context tariffs have generally referenced taxes on importers but as you say Dougie’s export tax on electricity can correctly referred to as a tariff.

Just about sums up why we are not buying American goods and electing to vacation anywhere but the US. The arrogance and disrespect from Trump and his MAGA minions is beyond the pale. Hopefully the rest of the world can see that this is not how you treat your allies and help us by boycotting US goods

Using the excuse of fentanyl flowing from Canada is a complete red herring. A Globe and Mail reporter did a deep dive and found that the WH are playing fast and loose with data on the drugs supposedly of Canadian origin. Tariffs are a form of economic terrorism and the consumer always loses.

I’ll state the obvious, Trump cannot be trusted. He would accept the apology and still throw Ukraine under the bus. He demanded Canada address the flow of fentanyl to the US. We did and are still getting tariffed. A clear violation of the USMCA agreement he negotiated. Only Russia trusts the US!
