If you start believing Acca is the main villain, he won't be. Araki will know what you are thinking and change his mind.

Ok, but imagine a main villain that grows in parallel to the main jojo. And when they finally confront each other, they are at the top of their game. Might be what Araki is trying to do with Acca, just a thought.
