Dear #mexico, Thank you so much for sending help for the floods. I’m sorry so many of my people are horrible bigoted shitstains who don’t extend the same empathy for human suffering to your people.

No one told me how much of my adult life would be spent frantically searching to see how militarily vulnerable the homes of my family and friends are.

Hang in there, Senator Booker. We’re with you.

Dear Canada,

I’m so sorry. We’re trying to stop him. You don’t deserve this.

Who tf are the security personnel letting these arrogant little uncleared unelected toerags into the rooms where $hit happens? They need to step up! How did they get into these sensitive positions? How long have they had them? Are they paid off, or pissed off?

“I told you so” does not satisfy
as it would
if this
were a show -

Trashy TV
shameless for ratings
and I saw the twist
and you did not.

That is the “told you so”
I could like.

Not this.
Never this.

I did not want
to be right
about this.

I kind of want to eat my feelings, but which ones?

Rage and ratatouille?
Despair and doughnuts?
Exhaustion and eclairs?

Educators and parents: a great learning resource is about to close. Please download and save the content they have offered if you can.
Perhaps one day I will be able to post a link to share for the content you save to be republished.

Can’t recall a President, can’t recall a Senator or Representative. But in 39 states, various state officials including judges can be recalled. If we want an off-ramp from this slide into oligarchic hell, this should be a major part of the strategy by the people. ballotpedia.org/Laws_governi...

I’m the kind of tired where, the minute I get up, the only thing I’m looking forward to is the time when it’s okay to get back in bed.

PRV in hand!!! The whole family is vastly relieved. Except the cats. They only care about the sun puddles in the new place.

Anxiously awaiting an immigration decision, keenly aware of how low-stakes our wait is in comparison to so many other parts of the world. While this matters like crazy to us, our bodies are not in imminent danger. Someone should tell that to my limbic system.

Dipping my toes in the water here. Short form isn’t really my strong suit, but it’s better than twiddling my thumbs waiting for my community to find me.
