What a profound waste of taxpayer dollars and exactly why so many opposed the project. Bet a few cronies got rich on the contacts though.

Sick of the TX Legislature doing all they can to break public schools. Now instead of working to fix the problems, they pass a bill to display religious texts in all classrooms. They KNOW they will need to spend $ defending it in court and it will do NOTHING to improve student outcomes.

In order to combat the “narrative politics” of the Repubs, Democrats need to all publicize the same awful policies & actions taken by T & Republicans and ignore the other chaos they are creating. We need the DNC or @texasdemocrats.bsky.social to lead this effort. See HC Richardsons post today.

This is why I no longer attend church after a lifetime of being a faithful Christian.
Meanwhile, these religious people publicly feign disbelief about the multitudes walking away from God, oblivious to the fact that they are the impetus for the exodus.
