I’ve missed a big one. The one year (in my memory at least)that a day at Jazzfest didn’t open and they didn’t know if they would at all due to torrential rains. So we made the decision to head home. Sure enough the clouds parted and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers went on to play. It was 2017. 😭

Same. It was really my first distraction during movies (now it’s the phone). My first love was Highlights. I graduated to stealing my mom’s Readers Digest. Tiger Beat obviously. Then Glamour &Cosmo. My grandparents had Texas Highways delivered most of my teen years and I loved that too. Memory lane

I doubt me, my husband or my elderly mom have superpowers and none of us had any side effects. Not sure what the motivation is for people to over complain about this but it was nothing.

I can’t express how much I have (honestly surprisingly) not missed Target since May 2023 when they aligned with the bigots on Pride gear in stores. They may not miss my $10K a year but they’ll miss all of ours. Take them down.
