This is one thing Apple could do really well. Their haptics are incredible, because they have specialized hardware for it. For example, on the newer Mac trackpads, no movement happens, it is only haptic feedback, but it feels real. They could do the same for a mouse.

This kind of thing pisses me off. YouTube is now filled with fully AI generated slop, where there is a fake face, voice, etc. there is no interaction, and it can be assumed the creator runs hundreds of identical channels to make a profit.

One thing you could do is use the free GitHub actions tier, which allows you to run a shell script or otherwise on a macOS virtual machine somewhere in the cloud.

I turned off SIP on my Mac, gives me a little more freedom. To do any serious system modification, I would have to disable AMFI, which consequently would disable iCloud, and FileVault (FDE), which is a huge security issue, so SIP is as far as I’ll go.
