Today is Trans Day of Remembrance #TDOR. Serious question for anyone out there. While it’s important to have these days and to protect vulnerable populations, how much institutional time should be spent recognizing/elevating these relatively narrow days?

For as long as I live, I will never understand how anyone could have chosen Trump over this.

So Trump’s Border Czar nominee wrote the section on the border for Project 2025’s manifesto and Trump’s FCC nominee wrote the section on the FCC for Project 2025. But Trump had no connection to it and doesn’t know anything about it.

Well republicans (and the rest of us) are going to get what they voted for. We tried to warn them that he doesn’t care about anyone but himself. F*ck
Some in the U.S. farm industry are alarmed by Trump's embrace of RFK Jr. and tariffs
President-elect Trump won landslide support in much of farm country, but his embrace of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his plan for a tariff fight with China alarms many farmers and agriculture experts.

Curious what lines republicans are not willing to cross? Like will they be ok when he uses the military on their neighbors? Or prosecutes local officials for not going along with him?
Would like to know before the line is crossed if possible.

Short list of economic outcomes that Republicans are ok with based on voting for Trump:
1. Costs of goods going up by estimated $4000/household (tariffs)
2. Lower wages and removed worker protections. (Project 2025)
3. Gutting Ag and service sector by deporting immigrants

What else?

Some thoughts on where to go from here.
1. Many policies on the left are broadly popular, but some are not. In order to build a brand, we should not spend energy defending unpopular positions.

Made my coffee this morning, but only had one cup before leaving the house. God I hope people are forgiving.
