The Dem Party just lost all of the Progressives and, as far as I can tell, a good chunk of the moderates. People don't move on from or get over a betrayal of trust this deep. People have been giving their blood, sweat, and tears, not to mention time and money, to fight back against Trump.

She's right. The script was just flipped. Now Dems "allowed" and even voted for subsidies to end.

My rage is starting to subside, and now i just feel like a complete fool for believing they may actually stand up for us this time.

At this point, I don't know why we get our hopes up they'll do anything for the people. Both sides are under the control of their donors. The eight that bowed down were those with nothing to lose, meaning they were selected to do the bidding of the rest. Always follow the money.

I really don't think you understand the level of damage that was just done. Bowing down is unforgivable to a lot of people.
