I thought it was interesting when you mentioned Levitz and Johanna hinted he had some creepiness. Levitz wasn't a pioneer in female characterization. While he helped write Dream Girl as an effective leader, it wasn't his choice obviously.

We used to have a place close by but pandemic. I just found a place not too far away that has mead, axe throwing and a blacksmith shop.

TT really seems to be a character of questionable motivation, but that's okay. Mostly a villain, sometimes a guiding hand... it makes the character more compelling as an antagonist. I did like the idea that TT may act as a counter to Mordru rising.

I say that Jeckie's power became less about creating illusions and more about controlling perceptions but also expanding her perceptions.

So I interpret that Jeckie here was doing an illusion only the Eye could see or somehow affecting the ability of the Eye to see.

Doesn't help that Levitz is bad with a lot of physics. In his mind she probably hopped a shuttle and was there at the speed of plot.

This one is weird. We are lead to believe she is at HQ. But we don't actually know what happens when she removes Brainy's sight. It's implied that she removes his sight and carries him out of her room though we don't see it on panel. Her body is clearly on Labyrinth fighting though.

I've always assumed that once Jeckie casts an illusion, it stays active until she wills it not to be. Or sufficient force disrupts it, like the Eye did in LSH v3.25. Her illusions are essentially a form of a glamour.
