The only reason I think he might be moved is because I think he has the most value of all the forwards with term.

I think they plan on doing a Dal/Mtl/La type rebuild, one where all ufas but only a few termed vets get moved so I think most termed vets will stay.

Biased on early interviews with JR I don’t think they plan on doing a scorched earth rebuild. I think they will talk to their vets with term and NTCs and ask if they want to move on. IMO Brock will say he wants to stay

Im talking about what the media shitstorm would have been once it leaked that he requested a trade. Just the fact they were listening on him was a circus. It wouldve been way worse if it was reported he asked to be moved.

Yes, but theres a difference between the implied trade me, and demanding a trade. The last few weeks were tough on everyone. Would’ve been much tougher once Elliot reported Quinn has asked to be moved.

IMO he did the team a solid by telling them he’s unlikely to
re-sign in the summer. Helped them maximize a return, in a different world he slow plays them and they end up having to trade him at next yrs deadline. Doubt they get the same return then

Idk, they were 3-6-3 in October and then when on an absolute heater in November, 11-1-2. So far in December they are 5-2. A big part of that run is Wallstedt going 9-1-2 with a .937S% and 4SO. Not sure he can keep that up, if he doesn’t theres a chance they falter.

I want another top 10 pick this year. The Canucks dont win lotteries but theres a chance the Wild might. So I really want them to miss the playoffs and win the lotto.

I think so too, but the central is savage. So theres a possibility they are a fringe playoff team this year and next, if that happens they may cut their losses

Either way I hope he does well, just from next year onwards. I want that unprotected pick to be as high as possible. How crazy would it be if they just miss the playoffs and it’s a lotto winner.
