This is going to be a disaster for the Brainerd Lakes. When the entire public comes out against it and yet the Council and MNDOT force it through anyway, what does that say about holding public comment meetings? It’s a a dog and pony show at best. This is going to bankrupt businesses and scar the BL

If it’s really something you want to do it’s probably possible. A lot of things that people think are disqualifying are actually possible to fly with. It just takes getting the waiver and going through the process to get it. I would tell you don’t give up on it if it’s something you want to do!

It’s pretty cool but the environment right now is definitely not the best. But the freedom u have is pretty unmatched. If u want to fly and you’re color blind depending on your specific situation u can obtain a medical waiver that would allow u to fly. It’s called a Statement of Demonstrated Ability

You can fly from MSP to Miami for 200 bucks right now round trip. Not sure where you live but I’m sure you could find deals there as well. Make it a goal and get it done!
