The dems lost the election because of lies. The same as the British people voting for Brexit. Somehow we’ve got to confront the problem of people being able to lie in democratic elections.

I think not having watched for years likely doesn’t make you the best to judge. I think it’s the best breakfast show there is (admittedly low bar), but the dip in and out audience first thing in the morning doesn’t want interrogative style shows, and they and Michael deliver on that well.

As a father of twins who will get caught up in this I think it’s such an over the top and ill thought through proposal. Far too broad and difficult to implement that I genuinely think the Liberal party will capitalise on greatly at the election (despite them saying they support it. Feels like a trap
