Yeah this is still great. Smart of the movie to shoot wide. Helps show off the production design when the movie has the money for it, helps the darkness feel more atmospheric when it’s used to hide the seams. The Carpenter + Cundey combo is very powerful.

X was my first Jason in a theater. I saw it three times theatrically. I have two T-shirts specifically of it, three if you count the franchise encompassing Friday the 13th one I have. One of only two Jasons I own on three separate physical media formats. A straight up baked into my bones favorite.
