Europe will either stand up to Trump or he will keep using them as his plaything. As long as Macron, Merz et al continue to kiss his ass and appease him, he will continue to treat them like shit. He may treat them like shit either way, but at least they can retain some dignity.

The first thing Virginia Spanberger did after being sworn in as Governor of Virginia was repeal Youngkin’s executive order requiring state and local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE.
This is the kind of leadership Democratic governors nationwide should be emulating.

The problem is that while some people might make mistakes, be careless, or overlook things, Jennings' actions were entirely different. He knowingly and deliberately lied, completely distorting the facts—and CNN paid him daily to do so. CNN acted as an accomplice throughout all of this.
