I had to completely rework my solution from part 1, which wasn't difficult, but did take time to implement

Not super proud of my performance in part 2. I was trying to find an elegant ranges-based solution, but I just couldn't get it to work

My solution for part 1 solved part 2 with the only change being that I shoved the whole thing in a while loop lmao

Got stumped last night trying to get my solution from part 1 to work for part 2, so I tried again this morning and wound up with something interesting that worked first try
