Support the legal defense of the 11 arrested related to the noise demo outside Prairieland ICE prison in DFW around July 4th, some facing state level terrorism charges:

URGENT
Funds needed for protestors in TX facing serious repression
givesendgo.com/SupportDFWProtestors WHAT WE KNOW
On the night of July 4th, local police arrested 10 people outside the ICE Prairieland detention facility in Alvarado, Texas. We don't know all of the circumstances leading to the arrests. We do know that popular outrage and resistance to deportations is growing across the country. The Trump administration has also consistently shown that it lies and distorts facts to advance their political narratives and justify the increase in brutal police action.
givesendgo.com/Support DFWProtestors The 10 people arrested on July 4th currently face severe state and federal charges aimed not only at ruining their lives but signaling an authoritarian criminalization of dissent and protest against ICE.
Police have continued investigating and harassing defendants' loved ones and friends. Defendants have now been in jail for 5 days putting employment and housing at risk.
givesendgo.com/Support DFWProtestors IMMEDIATE ASK
The DFW Support Committee needs to urgently raise at least $20,000 to cover legal fees and living expenses for all those arrested. Some defendants are still without legal representation because of the lack of funds. Others have rent that needs to be paid and children that need supporting.
Please donate to the GiveSendGo fundraiser. The link is at the bottom of each slide. You can also help by holding fundraisers and sharing this fundraiser with family, friends, coworkers and through social media. Updates will be posted on the GiveSendGo fundraiser.

Outside fam in Alabama laying out exactly what is going down inside St. Clair Correctional Facility:

"... psychological and physical abuse used as retaliation or control....
What is unfolding at St. Clair is not a matter of security or policy — it is a campaign of deliberate dehumanization."
Torturous Segregation Conditions

The inhumane conditions of segregation units at St. Clair are under Ellington’s direction. These are clear violations of the Eighth Amendment (cruel and unusual punishment), and they underscore the psychological and physical abuse used as retaliation or control.

The segregation unit at St. Clair Correctional Facility has devolved into a site of deliberate psychological and physical torment, operating outside constitutional bounds and basic human decency.
Under the leadership of Associate Commissioner Ellington, conditions in segregation include:

No ventilation, leaving men to suffer extreme temperatures, stagnant air, and health hazards.
No schedule or regular “ice call”, despite a memo requiring each shift to provide hydration at designated times.
No outdoor time or exposure to sunlight for days or weeks at a time — a clear violation of minimum exercise standards.
No access to reading material — including books, magazines, newspapers, or personal tablets.
No showers, even while men are confined in cells with overflowing toilets and standing water contaminated with feces.
No hygiene products, contributing to infection, disease, and further degradation.
No legal or spiritual support, as communication and movement are strictly limited.
Inmates are left naked or in soiled clothes, without cleaning supplies or laundry access for extended periods.

These conditions are not incidental or caused by staffing issues — they are systematically enforced and amount to psychological torture and sensory deprivation.

What is unfolding at St. Clair is not a matter of security or policy — it is a campaign of deliberate dehumanization.

Through prolonged lockdowns, the destruction of rehabilitative structures, and the brutal conditions in segregation, the Alabama Department of Corrections, under Ellington’s direction, is violating the basic human rights of incarcerated individuals and creating a hostile, unsustainable environment for staff.

This is not a facility in need of reform — it is a system in need of federal intervention.
