Canada can avoid tariffs simply by Trump cancelling them. Just like there can be peace in Ukraine if Putin brings his troops home.

Before any US-owned company is allowed to do business with Canada, they should be required to file with the Canadian government an affidavit agreeing that Canada is a free and sovereign nation and cannot - and must not - be forced into annexation with the USA via economic or other pressures.
