I think it’s the forced sounding vocal melodies that throw me off. I always thought one of the band’s biggest strengths was their incredible vocal lines, but this time it just doesn’t quite click. Still, Far Cry is one hell of a tune.

The only Rush albums I have a hard time with are Test 4 Echo & Snakes & Arrows, sometimes the music connects sometimes not. A below par Rush album is still listenable though, the bar is just set high for that band.
