People who argue "who cares it's just for kids" all I can say is fuck right off. Kids deserve thoughtful, well-made movies that challenge them just as much as adults do. Kids aren't stupid, and they remember how movies affect them basically forever.

I still remember the meltdown at smnet when MOTHER 1+2 was announced and they added a special message at the end of its commercial, which you recorded live if I'm not mistaken! (this was pre YouTube-era)
