Trump is my new go-to verb. For example, the Chicago Bears demolished the Minnesota Vikings today, bigly. They remain number one in the NFC and are likely to with their 8th Lombardi Trophy in a row. They say that this is the best team ever to play any sport. Wow, trumping feels good!

One of my Kindergarten students recently started saying, "Holy Bananas!" when surprised. Much of the class has taken it up. They sound like little old New Yorkers when they pronounce it. I think I'll start using it, too. It seems appropriate in light of the upcoming deluge of absurdity.
