Done the 50 minute 'ferry' across the Mersey a few times over the years. Did it again recently, and it's always nice to take somebody who's not done it before, and give them a flavour of the history of that part of the city. ❤️

Put all of the ingredients for a chilli into the slow cooker. Sitting watching footy and realised that I hadn't put kidney beans in. Then discovered no kidney beans in the cupboard either! 😤 Had to nip back out. 🤦♂️

Just heard something astonishing when talking to a referee lad that I know. Apparently, if the Everton incident that led to the red card had happened when the ball was live and in play, then it would have been a Man U penalty 'cos it happened in the box! 🤷♂️🤔
