Red Thai curry with beef in the slow cooker is so good. The meat is much more tender & melts in your mouth. Dedo happy too 😂

Dads having some traditional 🇲🇰 food - grilled sweet peppers with feta & crunchy fresh baked toll for dinner with a mixed leaf salad on the side. I made a quick red that coconut curry with beef & veg on brown basmati rice.

Homemade mexi bowls are my fav. So much flavour in every bite. Creamy avocado, bitey cheese, tangy sour cream, fresh tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, spicy meat veg n bean mix, lime juice drenched rice… 😋

Just did a quick vacuum of the kitchen & lounge with the 2in1 cordless vacuum from Aldi. I vacuumed there 2 days ago with my cordless Dyson. I’m impressed the Aldi vac sucked up this much - including a whole chip dropped under the couch on Friday night! (I missed it when I vacuumed with the Dyson).

Sheesh - he called my oven baked spicy chicken ribs & rice “village food”, then almost devoured the lot! 😂 cheeky dad! This, coming from the bloke that used to get together with my Uncle John & make a mouth watering, 24hr slow cooked Ghoulash in a huge pot over open 🔥 Just like in the village !😂

Figured out that when you open the window on a freezing Melbs/Naarm night, they cool & separate rather quickly 😂 BIL & niecey’s are packed & done. The remaining lot (minus the 3 I ate without blinking) are for Dad & I to enjoy with our cuppas.

I don’t have a huge sweet tooth but this little Portuguese tart with berries from Bakers Delight was irresistible. Light flaky pastry with the most delicious filling 😋

Instead of stir fry rice with crispy skin 🍣 , I decided to toss chopped 🧅 & drained can of 4 🫘 mix in hot frypan with some olive oil for 2 minutes. Chucked in crushed 🧄 & tossed for 1 min. Switched off & tossed through baby spinach, diced 🍅, splashed lemon juice & 🧂 & pepper. Served warm. Yum!
