When I do go to hyperspace I sometimes run out of time before even finding the Pokemon I wanted. Why can't I just feed Hoopa another donut so I have more time to explore?

I feel like I've spent more time resting on benches, resetting the portals to hopefully find one with a Pokemon I want, than I have in hyperspace.
