Can we also include the Screwtape letters as an enduring, insightful and entertaining bit of work?

Of course the answer is that all faiths worship a divine being, and we should concentrate less on the differences between beliefs, and unite in our common belief in a divine presence.

The Last Battle really hit home with me, as its conception of a star shaped island with a mountain at its centre, each peninsula representing a different faith, really allowed me to resolve what for me at the time, was a problem with all religions. Which one is right?

I feel into the world of Narnia almost by accident, having been given at the age of seven a copy of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. At the time it seemed just an exciting adventure story, but it lead me to the rest of the series.

Oops, forgot Twin Otter. A legend, still doing things no other airplane can do.

de Havilland Canada Beaver

As Canadian as possible under the circumstances. Iconic.

Others on my shortlist:
Noorduyn Norseman

Avro Canada Jetliner

CF-100 Canuck

Bombardier C Series (more or less the spiritual successor of the aforementioned Jetliner, but too generic to be truly interesting).

Carry on with things that give pleasure!

Many thanks for outstanding content over the years….I came for the flash info way back when, and continue to follow for the wisdom and common decency.

Keep well.

I’m guessing late 1950s to late 1960s from standard T instrument panel layout with drum type DG.

Tough one, certainly French, metric instruments and French text on vsi. Very low Vmo judging by ASI. Single engine I think from throttle quadrant. Probably large judging from diameter of trim wheel.

Large red handle looks might be meant to disconnect/drop something, crop spraying? Glider tug?
