RFK should not be in the government because he once cut a whale’s head off without needing, or being asked, to do so.
Kathleen Kennedy said when she was 6 years old, her dad got word that a dead whale had washed ashore.

He got a chainsaw, cut off the whale's head and strapped it to the roof of their minivan for a five-hour drive home.

"Every time we accelerated on the highway, whale juice would pour into the windows of the car, and it was the rankest thing on the planet," Kathleen Kennedy recalls. "We all had plastic bags over our heads with mouth holes cut out, and people on the highway were giving us the finger, but that was just normal day-to-day stuff for us."

All this Dolly Parton stuff led me to finding out her sister, Freida, does (or did) music. And it sounds like Dolly doing her best Axel Rose. youtu.be/WFH70xERGAw?...

Okay, they released another video, and it looked like pikmin because IT WAS PIKMIN.
blunderchief.blather.ing
Okay, I’m on board. It would make sense for it to be invisible lumas, except for all the music and the fact that everything looks exactly like it’s being carried by Pikmin.

Okay I definitely assumed it was a pikmin reference – the music! – but did not at all connect Mario Galaxy! I don’t see it, pls help

I am not familiar with WSJ’s Matthew Hennessey, but he should not have a job after writing this hatefully framed story that lets him vent his trans hate under the guise of a perceived cultural vibe shift that he thinks excuses this. What a shitty dork. What a coward.
Article lede that reads:

One benefit of Donald Trump's second presidency is that Americans can talk openly about the trans delusion and what it's doing to our politics. In the cultural atmosphere of a year or two ago I probably wouldn't say this: The person who was sentenced Friday to 97 months in federal prison for attempting to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh is a 29-year-old man. His name is Nicholas Roske.

Most of the mainstream media, and Judge Deborah L. Boardman of the Federal District of Mary-land, decided to endorse the fiction that Mr. Roske is now a woman named Sophie. Judge Boardman even said in court: "I am heartened that this terrible infraction has helped the Roske family ... accept their daughter for who she is."

This is close to what I wanted to say but I wasn’t certain if it was correct. So thanks for weighing in!

I think it depends on whether they sell you the whole seat, despite you only needing the edge.

I think so, but I’m no diehard fan. I just like Miyazaki a lot. The Lupin cartoons are fun, too, but Cagliostro is a work of art.

Honestly, I’d love to see it regress to the old look.

(Also, forgive the tumblr link. I saw the same info in a few places but that one put it the most succinctly)

Those Superman eps are gorgeous, and it’s a short watch, only a few episodes. I think they’re streaming… somewhere? I bought the blu rays a few years ago and archived them.

I haven’t seen it in at least 20 years! I’m very excited to rewatch it. Main thing I remember is… automatons inspired by the Max Fleischer Superman serials? Maybe that was a different Lupin the 3rd thing though?

Went to the library today and they had a copy of Castle of Cagliostro on DVD, so I checked it out. So I guess you could say my weekend is fully planned.
