Trying to figure out wtf Noem is talking about regarding "the girlfriend of one of the founders of Antifa," I learned that Portland's Rose City Antifa was the first US antifascist organization to use the German abbreviation "antifa" in its name.

Honestly, yes there is, in the same way that I'd rather be punched in the head than shot in the head. Newsom wants trans people kicked off sports teams; Trump & co want trans people either forcibly detransitioned or dead.

Wait, it's even better than that. The Hungarian name is spelled Sándor. "Szandor" seems to be his own invention, and it's either a hyperforeignism or a Polish respelling of the Hungarian name. (In Polish, "s" is /s/ and "sz" is /ʃ/, while in Hungarian, "s" is /ʃ/ and "sz" is /s/)
