I use to stem away from 2d stuff because I’m awful at line work

But painting is not as stressful

Playing around with underpainting and translucent layering

Feel like things are starting to develop style wise

Which is great because for a while I felt like I was simply mimicking things ya know

I usually don’t edge highlight so the lines a THICK but I think it actually still works

I use to just slap a wash and dry brush

Now I’m being a lot more intentional and slow and it shows

Was getting doomy recently about painting

Always check yourself every now and then

Was playing around with quick paint job styles and this one was really fun

Just airbrushed a contrast color

Then dry brush on the main coat

Finally lighter dry brush of highlights
