If you want to go to the Canary Wharf Winter Light festival this year, give it a miss. Awful this year, and I’ve been every year since it started. Overcrowded and rude festival goers - even saw a fight in the middle of Canary Wharf. Had a panic attack and went home early, 0/10 wouldn’t recommend

It’s happening again! A bunch of Zionists on Reddit, instead of calling out antisemitism in the Irish sub, took to posting age old anti Irish stereotypes - “the Irish are underdeveloped savages and they have a pointless barbaric language”
I think it has more to do with Irish culture in general. It's a historically catholic country, and much of Ireland is more undeveloped than you would expect, so medieval antisemitism lingers. Anti-British sentiment plays a big part; the British are responsible for the Balfour Declaration and fought the Nazis in WWII (unlike neutral Ireland), so the Irish are automatically more sympathetic towards the other side.
