Our council chair Dr @tomdolphin.bsky.social has responded to the horrific attack on Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester, on behalf of the BMA.
“The BMA is appalled by the horrific attack on a synagogue in Manchester. For such an attack to take place on Yom Kippur, one of the holiest days in the Jewish calendar, makes this atrocity all the more sickening. Antisemitism has no place in our society and we condemn it in the strongest possible terms. Our thoughts are with all those affected, and we send our gratitude and solidarity to emergency workers responding in Manchester.” Dr Tom Dolphin, BMA Chair of Council

If you're a medical student, we need your help to understand the extent of this problem nationally, so we can advocate on your behalf.

The new online GP consultation system poses significant challenges to patient safety and GP workloads.
