Cafe car won't be until 2026 per Brightline. They are focusing on revenue seating. 5 additional Smart Class cars are departing Siemens today and will be added in January for 6-car trains. Next batch will be Premium class then a 10-car Smart batch.

The coast isn't the issue, remember, BNSF owns the right of way that the Surfliner uses. The line needs more double track and in some cases, triple tracking and increase from 90 to 110mph with hourly frequencies to make it really work.

Definitely a casual gamer and I get a ton of shit for it. I thought about streaming but meh, too toxic that I'd lose the joy of playing.
