What stood out to me was EKs framing of the '20 vs '24 elections. Trump "barely lost" in 20, but "we got our asses kicked" in 24. Huh? Biden won by a much higher margin than Trump did. Plus, he ignores the global revolt against incumbants. The entire framing underlying his thought exercise is flawed

Biden won by 4.5% and Trump won by 1.5% (w/ less than a majority). You also ignore the global ouster of incumbants in 2024. Your framing is flawed

I visited the apartment building ICE raided on Tuesday today. Story to come, but you can walk right in. Half of the apartments have no doors on them. Children's stuff abandoned in some flats. *Citizen* residents told me they were arrested and held for hours in zipties. This is America

What DHS pulled in Chicago on Tuesday is wildly unconstitutional. They smashed down almost every door in the building, dragged entire families into the street, and detained people for hours ("Kavanaugh stops").

Ms. Fisher was held for five hours and another senior citizen was held for three hours.

Rodrick Johnson, 67, is one of many residents who were detained by federal agents during the South Shore raid. A U.S. citizen, he said agents broke through his door and dragged him out in zip ties.

Johnson said he was left tied up outside the building for nearly three hours before agents finally let him go.

“I asked [agents] why they were holding me if I was an American citizen, and they said I had to wait until they looked me up,” Jones said. “I asked if they had a warrant, and I asked for a lawyer. They never brought one.”

The overemphasis by centrists and the Dem consultant class on "kitchen table issues" and apparent ignoring of the fact that we're on the precipace of losing the soul of our country is wild. They are completely unable to influence public opinion yet entirely beholden to it at the same time.
