I just switched the other way - from LM and a brief stint with Fedora42 and Ubuntu. Kubuntu is running quite well on my Inspiron 14 Plus, better than the others.

Does it need to be local on the desktop? I use AntennaPod on Android, have been quite happy with it.

I like this idea in theory, but I've had very little issue with purchasing no-OS systems or just replacing Windows on systems from major vendors (usually Thinkpads).
