I would hope that any changes of this nature go through a careful, thoughtful process. We want policies to reflect the views of the community, but should avoid knee-jerk, reactionary changes.

The frustrating thing about US cars is that there are many brands (like #Subaru and #Hyundai) that use synthetics for their seats, but insist on animal leather for the steering wheel cover. So close! (But they still lost the sale to me.)

I also don't want to hear either side ever say anything about 'fake news', personal insults, nor how big or small any crowd was. Who gives a damn? For once, let's focus on policy based on facts supported by data and logic. That still leaves a _lot_ of room for policy differences.

Happily, the lesson for me was to assume Social Security would not be there for me, as it seems it may not be. But not everyone's path in life made that possible. We still have a few years if we're just smart enough to _act_. Little sign of that intelligence or courage so far.
