The White House has wanted a ballroom for 150 years? Aside from the fact that the WH can have no desires, I don't recall any or the POTUS who occupied the WH wishing for a ballroom. It will not make the overwhelming majority of American's happier or solve any of their problems.

Yeah, I am totally convinced by this genuine outpouring of support ordered up by Donald Trump. Because, if I doubted Wiles' qualifications, this spontaneous and sincere outpouring of praise and respect has set my mind at ease. Whew!

Despite all this Trump wants to hand Putin victory on a platter. It's all Putin could desire. Not peace, but a pause in hostilities to allow Russia to rearm while Ukraine's army is limited and NATO is permanently off the table. No security guarantees and Russia will try eventually to finish the job.

The hand wringing is due to the fact that anyone with even the vaguest connection to reality knows that a post like this (which Trump has not apologized for) is the work of a mad man. Even Republicans can no longer ignore Trump's headlong dive into insanity. He is undeniably insane, which is scary.

You'd think that the devoutly religious speaker of the house would condemn Trump's disgusting comments and shown even a tiny bit of empathy for the Reiners, instead of running away as far as his short little legs could carry him. He should dress in yellow.
