We're trying it for the opening hands of Ark Nova this weekend.

I really liked First Class's drafting. You eliminate a card as you draft them. It kinda allows you to draft for yourself and hate draft in a turn, or double hate draft 😈

Id say it's a bit more fiddly than The Crew. But that has to do with having a board with poweres that you'll add that can break the rules here and there.

My knee jerk reaction was that this game is meh. But after thinking about what they'd said before we started playing, has me holding the game for a better group to play with.

One player openly admitted to not caring for trick taking games, and another said he was looking for a deeper game. So two players were already coming in with attitudes antithetical to the game.

Rodney is THE FIRST resource i look for when learning a game. Rulebook 2nd or 3rd.

Origin Story fell flat on this first play. I think/hope it might have been the wrong group to play it with. I do look forward to trying it with friends that like trick-taking games.
