It’s not about the oil or drugs. That’s a ruse. It’s about coltan- rare earth mineral used in electronics. We don’t want Venezuelan oil. It’s “heavy crude” which we are not setup to refine. The U.S. pumps out “light sweet crude”. It would take major overhaul to refine heavy crude.
