SLK 32 was at the dealer when I took my SLK 230 in for a service - test drive thrilled me, so the 230 stayed as p/ex. 😀

Likewise, I regretted swapping my old 100 quattro for some painting & decorating work, when it just needed its clutch replacing 😢

Loved our Passat GL5 estate - seen here with our brother-in-law & my son on the bonnet - the short-stroke 5cyl in the GL5 was the sweetest of them all imho, and a great colour that never needed washing 😆

Heralds are indeed brilliant - I acquired one of each body style simultaneously in the fleet 😀

0-100mph in 11s and quicker over the quarter mile than my colleagues BMW M3 as he discovered, thanks to its wonderfully efficient hand-built 354hp supercharged engine.
Only 263 sold here in the UK, and it surprised many 00s Porsche 911 drivers who assumed it was just a regular SLK with AMG bodykit 😀
