But seriously, I saw it again Sunday at the Polk Theatre and there’s a scene about 90 min. when they’re sending off the Castavets and Cassavetes clearly says “Bye Ruth!”
Today I checked the Criterion Collection version and there’s an ADR “Bye Minnie!” that doesn’t sync with his mouth.

I love that scene where Rosemary’s new obstetrician offers her free Harlem Globetrotters tickets.

A couple of years ago I finally got enough curiosity to check out his more recent work and it was better than expected but not compelling enough to hook me.

Mary vs Fright Night
“The new next door neighbor is a vampire who wants your girlfriend. Naturally, the first thing you do is enlist a local tv host to fight him. It’s a very meta comedy, a Scream before there was Scream.”

Mary vs Kramer vs Kramer
“A movie about a bitter divorce & custody battle might win best picture, but it doesn’t entirely win us over, no matter how good Meryl Streep’s peformance is. A reactionary film that swept the Oscars? Quelle surprise, Hollywood.”
