Im speaking as consumer and (burnt out artist). My mental health and clarity is much better the less I’m on twitter, but there’s really no other place to find the creative spaces I crave on a somewhat large scale. The glory days of tumblr are gone, as are spaces like deviantart.

At this point, there is no social media that is a good alternative to another for the general public as a whole, let alone creatives who rely on their algorithms to gain a following. I support artists leaving twitter…but where would they go that’s even close to an equivalent? There is none

I have enough edge and toxicity, my mind is so much better now that I’m not spending 10+ hours on that hell app
