Tried my chemistry skills in the kitchen today, baking Ciabatta bread from scratch for the first time. Very happy with the result.

LOL, Wow, couldn't believe how expensive D batteries were, so I explored lower cost options, i.e. rechargeable. Discovered that in the US, there are no D or C batteries. They literally package smaller batteries (3 AA = D; 3 AAA =C) in a larger case. Found these holders that do the same w/o packaging

I just love bread, beyond belief; but I am all talk. My better half finally nailed my feet to the ground and challenged me to bake some from scratch. I decided on Ciabatta (Yum). This is it my first time ever. Not perfect, but for a first time, over the moon. Ciao!

Kid you not! Kaiser Permanente developed & tested a robotic "doctor" to visit patients in their hospital instead of encumbering their doctors to do followup.
It was scrapped after being revealed, it - not the doctor, was sent in to tell a patient his condition was terminal with limited time left.
