Choosing between escaping into the rose-tinted garden with nothing evolving or changing (retro) and sighing as you purchase the umpteenth solo dev’d game on itch not because it’s an exciting piece of software, but because you feel a sort of guilt about not helping out otherwise (indie).

Even at the lowest level, just staying alive, surviving, it’s a risk that we take.

Bellowing down the halls, or in the streets.

Community gathering on site or online.

Fundraising for crises and causes near and dear.

It’s all a risk.

That we all take.
