shared feelings of general angst and dismay and the search for something we can do that is positive and helpful. We visited for almost an hour! Doris said this several times: it will be alright. Now I have a mantra: Doris says it will be alright.

…injury. And so far he is strong & manages on land without a cane. I have a new hero.
3. Found $100 in the pocket of my dress.
4. Filed taxes. Considered boycotting since so much important to me is defunded. But - getting a refund.
5. Finished cutting out the pieces of my quilt. Next up is sewing.

Early 60’s, I was 11. I checked Peyton Place out from the library. This was a small town and the librarian called my mother and told her what I was reading. My mom
asked about it; I said it was about families that didn’t get along. I was too naive to capture the nuances.

and slowly skidded down to the passenger door. I successfully backed out.
Then I reconsidered. If I can’t navigate my own driveway, what else is lurking? I backed up a bit more to give myself a head start and then rolled steadily up the driveway, stopping without hitting the garage.
Nature wins.

I got out, slowly skidded down to the first can. There was a spot where the ice had not collected so I was able to move the cans to either side so I could leave.
Getting back into the car meant walking on the verge on the passenger side, inching across the front…

Beep! That was the obstruction alert and there in my reverse camera were the trash cans out for pickup. I was headed right for them.
I put the car in forward but I had no traction. Low gear was little better. I considered abandoning it in place…
