Oooh what a knob! 🥺

Isn't that how we tend to write things though? 'The earliest (evidenced) is ... ' because that's the first time we have it in the record?

Clearing things out of my house is definitely big. Thank you.

Sadly, our government is still trying to maintain good relations. Trump directly and rudely insulted the mayor of London (calling him vicious and disgusting and implying he only got voted in by immigrants. It was racism) and our PM took a whole day to admit that maybe he should have said something.

I also dropped off a selection of the best of the books I'm getting rid of to the co-op charity shelf.

Yesterday, three boxes of books were collected to go off to world of books, and the postie* left a box of cat food and litter behind in an incredible display of efficiency for DPD!

Absolutely. Remembering that unsolicited advice is criticism, not support, is something I keep working on because wanting to help is NOT helping.

It's SO tiring and tiresome to be constantly defending and justifying the situation to people who can't actually help.
*More big hugs*

Is this the big plan? 'send them the things they want! Make em PAY!'

like he's just discovered global trade?

Ah. That being unflappable... Dignity and respect are so important. Helping patients and families to feel both of those things.

It's a calling for sure. Not for the faint of heart.

This is extremely true.

Good nurses are worth everything.
December 9, 2025 at 12:27 AM
Hugs. More hugs. And I hope you can get some restful sleep at some point too.
December 8, 2025 at 6:36 AM
I, I suspect we, who are concerned, just want to hug you. Not have you say less.

Thank you lovely. It comes and goes. The cupboard under the sink was slightly ajar today and didn't close it because she liked ducking in there to hunt spiders and it wasn't until I sat down I realised she wasn't in the cupboard. It wasn't a shock, just an Oh.... Yeah.

Hugs help. ❤️

My Steiner teacher gave me that poem one year. We each got a poem to learn and consider and we were to discuss it when we got back to start the new year.

I took it very literally and think of him (a dear teacher and arty mentor) if I'm ever wandering and the path splits to this day.

Thank you. She was an especially special cat. I think she actually thought I wasn't a complete idiot sometimes 😆🥰

SO many back.
December 5, 2025 at 2:42 PM
Oh yes.

My oldest one passed a couple of weeks ago. She was a suspicious one so she had to be boxed up first in a different room with careful planning and subterfuge.

Yoshi also wears a harness as I let him roam the car. He inevitably settles better that way. It going in first helps with control

I have to get mine in a room where he can't hide before I even touch the carrier.

And then I have to grab him, tuck the carrier, doorway up, between my knees and lower him into it backwards firmly but carefully, and grab the door to kind of Smoosh him fully in.

Never dignified, rarely scratched.

😱😱😱

I have no words. I'm so sorry.
