Chickens diet affects nutritional quality of eggs. Imho pastured eggs also taste richer. Cheap eggs are fine but I’ll buy pastured when I find them for the richness and nutrition, and because I like the chicken to live healthy happy lives.

I buy pasture raised from a local person who raises chickens, for $5/dozen

BlueSky is much easier to use. I signed up for Mastadon but can’t figure out how to get anything out of it. Here on Bluesky I found what I wanted right away and it was simple to do.

I’ve given thought to this. Not only will citizens here be getting ill with preventable illnesses but can bring them to areas with less access, causing outbreaks there too, through travel.
