You know, people keep calling Trump and his followers stupid and incompetent. Yet, he controls all 3 branches of government and many states. Liberals aren’t going to become relevant again until they admit they were beaten badly and come up with new leaders and a new agenda.

Oh you poor baby. That mean doggie might pee on your loafers

For a long time there was this civic understanding that the fans would spend a lot of money and the business would put a good team on the field. But, that’s broken. I don’t think you can really restore it without new owners.

We all figured Trump was finished when he got caught bragging about grabbing lady’s privates. I don’t like it but, give him credit for a strange ability to survive these things.

True. But, I fear that this attempt at being lighthearted trivializes something rather horrid. There are so many things to joke about…

Going after shadow fleet tankers near the coast?

Yeah. But, Tom seems to encourage / enjoy it.

My Mom hated Hilary not because of what Bill did but, because she failed to divorce him.
December 9, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Yeah. It’s part of the denial that the conservatives have carried on a long successful campaign and the libs lost.
December 8, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Yeah. I’ve lived in both city and country. City folks think country folks are unwashed boobs who need to be led to righteous liberalism. Country folk think city folk are all socialists who belong to violent gay gangs. Try to tell either group they’re wrong.

They haven’t been the party of Lincoln since Eisenhower.
December 8, 2025 at 3:37 PM
We’re never going to get out of this hole until folks admit we got beat bad and need a better plan.

Cue up the Rundgren song…
November 23, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Certainly true. But, I take heart that a MAGAt is seeing a life beyond Donald. Tiny little cracks starting to show.

Next, we need to debate the Orthodox definition of fascism. 😉
November 22, 2025 at 7:54 PM
The current US may or may not fulfill the exact definition of a fascist state. But, what is sure is that we won’t get rid of this blight until folks quit trying to win debating points and start working together. Satisfying your ego will not help anybody.

The conflict with him is what attracts certain viewers. Wonder how many it drives away (like me).

I remember watching her on CNN and thinking she would end up in the same heap of outsized egos as Lemon and Cuomo. I didn’t have Kennedy on my bingo card, tho. Geeesh!

This is what big bowls of popcorn are for.

Both sides know that no one is actually going to really release all the embarrassing info. So, whoever is out of power can use it to snipe at those in power.
November 17, 2025 at 2:07 PM
There’s finally some cracks showing in the MAGA world and the response of the liberal intellectuals is to argue over the word, “fascist.” It’s basically an obsolete term. Future historians will call this crap Trumpism or MAGAism.
November 16, 2025 at 4:57 PM
My guess is that the embarrassment will be shared. The game is the people not in power attack those who are on knowing it’ll never come out.
November 14, 2025 at 3:18 PM
It’s great that they won these elections. But, socialism may have won in NYC, but it wouldn’t have flown in GA. They don’t have a national plank that will work all over (except for beating Trump.)
November 7, 2025 at 10:16 PM
This shutdown is working to traditional conservatives advantage because it’s forcing the states to act on their own behalfs. Federalism!

You see the same thing with health issues such as vaccines. The problems have faded out of our memories and will now be revisited.
