For a long time there was this civic understanding that the fans would spend a lot of money and the business would put a good team on the field. But, that’s broken. I don’t think you can really restore it without new owners.

We all figured Trump was finished when he got caught bragging about grabbing lady’s privates. I don’t like it but, give him credit for a strange ability to survive these things.

The current US may or may not fulfill the exact definition of a fascist state. But, what is sure is that we won’t get rid of this blight until folks quit trying to win debating points and start working together. Satisfying your ego will not help anybody.

There’s finally some cracks showing in the MAGA world and the response of the liberal intellectuals is to argue over the word, “fascist.” It’s basically an obsolete term. Future historians will call this crap Trumpism or MAGAism.

My guess is that the embarrassment will be shared. The game is the people not in power attack those who are on knowing it’ll never come out.

It’s great that they won these elections. But, socialism may have won in NYC, but it wouldn’t have flown in GA. They don’t have a national plank that will work all over (except for beating Trump.)

This shutdown is working to traditional conservatives advantage because it’s forcing the states to act on their own behalfs. Federalism!
