Connecticut Senate Majority Leader
Thanks to Governor Ned Lamont for the shout out during your State of the State address on the work House Majority Leader State Representative Jason Rojas and I have done on housing affordability along with so many.

It was the most humbling thing ever to get a standing ovation from my colleagues.

I know we can get it done by this weekend. Please contribute to get over the finish line.

$800 away from my midnight goal. Can you chip in if you haven’t already?

Once I raise $22,100 then I am done asking for two years. I’ll qualify for Connecticut’s clean election program.

Thank you! The support amd encouragement mean the world to me.

Let’s keep it going!

The response to my fundraising email four days ago has been terrific, and I’m getting closer to reaching the $20,100 needed to qualify for our clean elections program.

I’m asking you to help out with a donation of $5 to the $340 max.

The new community center in South Norwalk is really coming together nicely. It sat for too long unused and underutilized. Soon, it will be a place for kids to play, learn, and for the community to gather.

State, federal, and local funding helped bring this project to reality.

What’s happened in Minnesota the last few weeks is disgusting, despicable and it’s frankly unAmerican. That’s why I was glad to join my colleagues on Monday to speak about ways in which the CT legislature will work to protect our residents from the terror that ICE is inflicting across this country.

Holocaust Remembrance Day is a reminder of millions of lives lost, families broken, and where hatred & indifference can lead. We remember the victims, honor the survivors, and recommit ourselves to standing up against antisemitism and all forms of hate.

I am convinced these developments would not have happened if the people of Minnesota and millions around the country didn’t step up, protest, make noise and refuse to let their rights be taken away.

An exciting morning in Norwalk as we broke ground for renovations at the historic Carver Center.

Thanks to a $3.5 million state grant I helped secure with the support of the Norwalk delegation, these renovations will expand the center, make it ADA accessible, and provide security upgrades.

Hey everyone

We could be looking at somewhere between 3 inches to 300 inches of snow this weekend. Looks pretty big based on forecasting.

Stay safe and if you can, enjoy the downtime.

Thanks to Sustainable Streets Norwalk for inviting me to speak at your meeting last night.

Great conversation about Norwalk’s future: growing responsibly, supporting affordable housing including senior housing, infrastructure investments, and school construction.

Your advocacy is appreciated!

“I fell asleep in America and this is what I woke up to.”

We have the chief executive threatening more violence on his people, suspending Constitutional rights and questioning whether we should have mid-terms.

We’re in treacherous times and if this isn’t the America you recognize, we need you.

Thanks to Commander Easley for inviting me to the annual NJROTC Area Manager's Inspection at Brien McMahon High School. It is a pleasure to see the students hard work pay off and watch their leadership grow from one year to the next. Congratulations on a job well done!
