There needs to be public transparency and debate on the guardrails. No backroom deals that disappoint the majority of the voters. Public debate and feedback.

Also, while this is important ... what about ACA subsidies? You voted to keep the gov't open in November for a vote on extending these.

Our experience with your “fighting back” leaves little hope of follow through.

Let's not also lose sight of his children's involvement. He's not a young man, and the stain of his time in office should follow them for the rest of their lives. They not only enabled him, they encouraged him.

You already stopped fighting. You did that in November. You are the leader of the dems and you couldn't hold them together. You and the 8 below are also to blame. Not solely, but also. You need to resign.

That makes sense. Joe & Mika flew to MAL to kiss the ring when trump was elected. You caved to the republicans on the only leverage we had to continue the ACA subsidies and now over 1 million people have lost their coverage.

You should just retire and become a regular correspondent on their show.
January 16, 2026 at 9:21 PM
Or, you know, you can just cave again.
January 15, 2026 at 4:11 PM
But as you demonstrated to us in November, if the other party says "so what?", then there is nothing you can do and you just let them have their way. Right?

So why are you bringing this up?

Let's not forget that he also voted to ban hemp products, decimating a $30B / 300K worker industry. And to give $1M each to GOP senators who had their phone records released during an investigation of wrong doing.
January 12, 2026 at 3:26 PM
It's nice that the people of Rochester have a place to share their challenges. Wouldn't it be great, though, if they could count on your to actually do something about it when you have the leverage?

She obviously doesn't love this country. If she did, she would understand that the ability to peacefully protest is enshrined in our constitution. It's one of the rights that make this country so great.
January 12, 2026 at 3:10 PM
What are you going to do for the 300,000 workers of the Hemp industry that you decimated with your vote in November without a single comment or debate? When will you explain why you voted for that?
January 9, 2026 at 9:42 PM
But hey, thanks for voting in the total Hemp ban that will kill a $30B industry and 300,000 jobs without a single debate or comment.

Alternate truth?
January 9, 2026 at 6:13 PM
Well they said no. So … now what?
January 8, 2026 at 7:07 PM
I have zero interest in the opinion of @morningjoe-msnow.bsky.social. They flew to MAL to kiss the ring after the election. And when viewers expressed outrage, Joe threw a temper tantrum and said the viewers are wrong. I have not watched their show since. They can’t be trusted.

If only these 8 democrats hadn’t caved this fall.
January 6, 2026 at 11:44 PM
Sounds good, Chuck. You should talk to the minority leader about why his weak leadership led to this.
January 4, 2026 at 6:55 PM
These are democrats who voted for the ban without a single public debate. I don’t remember any other democrat mentioning it before it was signed into law.
January 4, 2026 at 6:53 PM
Aw, bless your heart. I’ve voted straight dem in every election, including every special election, for over twenty years. So I’m not sure what you’re referring to. But like most trolls, name calling and false accusations are typical.

I hope you have the day you deserve.
January 3, 2026 at 4:09 PM
Good morning, troll. Where does it say that in the message I replied to?

It doesn’t. You have the day you deserve!

I hope the Iowa Republicans are forward thinking enough to understand that the 2026 elections don't look great for them because of their pushing of unpopular policies. There will be no room for course correction if they pull the same stunts again in this legislative session.
January 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM
Completely agree that it will change. But it won't change "immediately".
January 3, 2026 at 2:55 PM
So what are the options, Dan? Surely just wringing our hands isn't the only response. Is there any option with a republican lead congress? How can we get this before the courts?
