If you are looking for a good book to read that will stay with you, I recommend The True True Story of Raja the Gullible (and His Mother) by Rabih Alameddine. Deeply moving but also darkly funny, sometimes in ways that might not hit you until later.

I was listening to this podcast on my way to The Clark Art Institute this morning, but someone kept trying to call and I had to keep rewinding. Finally I yelled at my phone: “Stop!Nicole Hemmer is speaking!”
