Last I heard the polls among the conservative politicians show him very popular though. The people don't like him but the party does so he gets all the special boy privileges from them.

I'm reminded of when New York called Amazon's bluff on capital flight years ago and it wasn't real. They threaten it as a negotiation tactic but it's rare that they'll change long term plans over it.
